Frequently asked questions
Do you convert amounts from reais to dollars?
The translation preserves amounts exactly as they appear in the original document, in reais — that's what agencies expect. Conversion to dollars, where needed, is done by the agency or an accountant using the exchange rate for the reference date.
How many months of statements are usually requested?
Three to six months is most common, but it varies by process and by consulate. We translate whatever period you need — tell us the destination and we'll check the current requirement before fixing the scope.
Does a statement downloaded from the bank's app work?
Yes, as long as the PDF shows the account holder's name, the account number and the period. We translate the document exactly as issued, without altering layout, amounts or dates.
How does per-page pricing work?
You send the complete set, we count the pages and come back with a fixed price before starting. Statements with many repeated lines usually come out cheaper per page than dense documents.
