Horsetail is known for its diuretic, antioxidant, and bone-strengthening properties. Your tea is commonly used to fight liquid retention, help with weight loss and improve urinary health. In addition, horsetail can help lower blood pressure and improve skin and nail health.
Preparation of tea:
Place the dried stalk of the horsetail in a cup of boiling water and let it rest for about 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and drink up to 2 cups a day, preferably after the main meals of the day.
This tea should not be used for more than 1 week at a time, to avoid dehydration and the elimination of some essential minerals for the body.
