Eucalyptus tea has antiseptic, decongestant, antispasmodic and antimicrobial properties, being useful in the treatment of flu, colds and sinusitis. Its substances, such as cineol and terpineol, help fight respiratory infections, making bronchial secretions more liquid and relieving coughing with phlegm. In addition, tea improves breathing and stimulates immunity, contributing to the prevention and fight against infections. It is also effective against bacteria that cause gastrointestinal diseases and urinary tract infections.
Preparation of tea:
In a pan, boil water. After turning off the heat, add the chopped eucalyptus leaves, cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Then strain and drink 1 cup of tea 2 to 3 times a day.
